It is not uncommon to spend longer planning a lift, than the lift itself takes.

Trying to use a smaller crane in order to cut costs can be dangerous and more expensive if you then also have to pay for a larger one.

Undertaking a detailed lift plan and SWMS (Safe Work Method Statement) will ensure that the correct crane is used and that job will proceed smoothly.
